What is ISI?

The Ice Sports Industry is an international trade association encompassing all aspects of the ice skating industry. ISI was founded in 1959 as an organization for owners, operators and developers of ice skating facilities. The mission and goals of ISI are to promote ice skating as a participant sport and recreation and to provide information for the development, construction and operation of ice skating facilities. The ISI is dedicated to providing leadership, education and services to the ice skating industry. Our membership consists of over 85 administrative members, 470 professional members, 5400 individual members in Asia.

ISIAsia Professional Membership

Professional membership ensures that ISI coaches have successfully passed a background check. Continuing education is provided to current members so that they remain up to date on ISI skating requirements and passing standards. ISI’s many diverse competition event categories allow coaches to broaden their creativity when working with skaters eager to compete in ISI events.

Who Can Be an ISIAsia Professional Member?

Individuals who are 16 years or older and derive income from teaching or coaching ice skating or ice hockey.
